Interperting the BT signal might add input lag that is not shown on DS4Windows, there might be loss of info due to wireless etc (not sure these things actually happen). It doesn't necessarily mean though that BT is better than wired connection. DS4Windows reports a 1ms polling rate while using BT, and 4ms while using a cable.
